Aspergion - Launching in 2012
The worlds of the Aspergion system are there to be explored. Worlds of thought, experience, dreaming. Worlds inhabited by both friend and foe. Worlds that you're ready to explore.
As a newly recruited Aspinaut, you have been tasked with charting these worlds and learning more about them. It's time to hop into your spaceship and set a course for new adventures and understanding. Download Aspergion (coming soon!) and prepare for a journey like no other!
The Centre for Disease Control reports that 1 in 110 children are diagnosed with Autism. Of these, 20% have high functioning Autism, more commonly known as Asperger’s Syndrome.
Aspergion is an adventure game created to raise awareness and promote equity for this minority group. Designed by people with Asperger's and realised by Digital Media Design students at Swinburne University Aspergion takes a unique approach.
Targeted at Neurotypical high school students, the wonderful worlds have been created by people with Asperger's, sharing their experience and dreams to help young people understand and appreciate those who are “wired differently”. The project aims to promote interaction and to develop respect.
How Aspergion Works
Aspergion takes a multi-modal approach to raise awareness about Asperger's Syndrome. Each component has been developed to build understanding and respect. To get the most out of Aspergion we suggest that you do the following:
- Watch the Aspycadabra and Aspergion video (available soon).
- Download and play the Aspergion Game (available soon).
- Meet other players and share experiences though the in-game chat.
- Join the Facebook community to meet other Aspinauts: facebook.com/aspergion
- Build your own wonderful world for others to share.
- Comment and vote for your friends' worlds.

About the Worlds
There are people amongst us who are unique.
Clinically described as High-Functioning Autism, their condition is commonly known as Asperger's Syndrome.
These are their worlds.
Each world of Aspergion has been created by a small design team in co-operation with an Asperger's mentor. It is their thoughts and experiences which have shaped these worlds. Some worlds are familiar, others unreal. Here you can find out about the universe before you take off. Designed by people with Asperger's Syndrome and developed by final year design students at Swinburne University, Aspergion provides a unique insight into the minds of its creators. About Tutoria
Programmed by Binary Professor, Alex Reeve.
Tutoria was originally home to the Aspinaut Space Architects, who created the magnificent worlds in the Aspergion Galaxy.
It is now overseen by a somewhat eccentric artificial intelligence and serves as a training ground for intrepid explorers.
On Tutoria Station, you will to learn how to control your Aspinaut Avatar and gain experience as you explore Aspergion's worlds.
About Gregarion
Fashioned by Celestial Socialite, Teana Barry.
Gregarion is a vibrant planet with lush landscapes, bountiful pastures and wild parties.
Over the millennia, the planet's population has diversified and flourished as visitors flocked to its progressive festivals. The infamous Gregarion Mardi Gras is know across the Aspergion Galaxy.
Gregarion is an exciting and energetic place of magnificence and wonder. Be sure to visit the capital, Pride City, where it's easy to lose yourself in the spectacle and the city's iconic Central Maze!
About Mesiji
Articulated by Ethereal Orator, Avyshek Sobhee.
Mesiji is an intensely agricultural world, with cybernetic farming technologies that are an exemplar of sustainability. Rural communities enjoy breathtaking environments, natural springs and orchards of fresh fruit.
Integrated sensory networks pervade through Mesiji's life forms, keeping the planet's ecosystems in perfect balance.
Plug in to the sensory network to access different communication channels and chat with all life forms on the planet, for an experience that is sure to keep you talking about Mesiji.
About Tantronium
Convened by Academic Councilor, Peter Francis.
Tantronium is inhabited by the highly intelligent Aspen Clan and known throughout the Galaxy for its advanced Emota-flux core.
By focusing their feelings the Aspen Clan may control the planet's rotation and weather, generating an abundance of clean energy.
Tantronium's citizens are naturally kind, embracing those who respect their customs; but beware, fluctuations in their emotional states may have volatile effects on the weather.
Learn the Aspen customs and remember to approach them with respect.
About Scientifica
Formulated by Chief Science Officer, Paul Van Leeuwen.
Scientifica is a world of beauty, order and mystery. Deserts, oceans, forests and rugged mountain ranges geometrically segment the surface. Kept pristine by the city of academics and intellectuals, a vast array of native flora and fauna awaits discovery.
Whilst the citizens are always open to new ideas, all is not what it seems in this virtual utopia. Below the surface hides a cavernous labyrinth where hard minded scientists work secretly at the planet's core.

Audiology is a planet where music is the foundation of everyday life, from melodic communication, to the sub-woofer beat generators that power the planet.
The inhabitants of Audiology take the rhythms of life literally, having rocked on happily for generations.
However, recent reports suggest unrest with neighboring planets who have insisted that the Audiologists "turn the bloody racket down". Combined with civil music-genre wars, something is out of tune in this once harmonious society.

In the past, this opulent planet thrived with dramatic mountain vistas, magical flowering fields and valleys of treasure. However greed and overconsumption has resulted in a dystopia.
With a lack of resources for daily survival, distrust festers on Dillemacon and caution is advised.
About Lorikeesha

Lorikeesha is a collection of ancient isles that have been carved away over millennia by the ocean's waves. It is inhabited by rainbow lorikeets and their human carers.
